Soft Factory Paint
Tesla clear coat is thinner and softer than most brands, so it picks up swirls, etching, and stone chips faster than you would expect. Washing alone does not stop a rock, and a soft panel repaint is expensive to match.

Model 3 and Model Y
Tesla paint is famously soft and chips easily, which is why PPF has become the standard protection for Model 3 and Model Y owners. We install LLumar VALOR film with wrapped and tucked edges so the protection disappears into the bodywork instead of ending in a visible line. Every job is done in our Shrewsbury shop.
Three reasons Model 3 and Model Y owners bring the car to us before the first chip lands.

The front bumper, hood leading edge, mirrors, and front fenders take the hit on every highway drive. Those panels are exactly what our packages cover first, so the damage stops in the film instead of the paint.
A clean Tesla resells better, and a chipped hood or faded bumper is the first thing a buyer points at in negotiation. Protected panels stay original factory paint, which is what keeps the value where it should be.

Model 3 is priced as a sedan, Model Y as a small and mid SUV. Same film, same install standard on both.
Sedan pricing. Low hood line and a large front fascia make the bumper and hood the first place chips show up.

Film handles impact. Coating and tint handle everything else. Ask about bundle savings when you book more than one service.
Our number one coating system, and what we put on top of every PPF installation. It seals the paint that film does not cover, sheds water and road grime, and makes the car far easier to keep clean. Entry pricing is $715 for a Model 3 and $790 for a Model Y, and it rises with protection length and paint correction.
See Ceramic Coating OptionsCeramic film on two front windows is $300, and it rejects far more heat than the factory glass while blocking over 99% of UV. Full coverage, windshield, and sun strip options are available in the same film.
See Window Tint OptionsPair any PPF package with a ceramic coating and save 10%. Tell us which services you want and we will quote the whole package together.
The questions Model 3 and Model Y owners ask before booking.
No. Our standard film is optically clear, so a gloss Tesla stays gloss and the paint depth looks the same, only protected. If you want a different look, matte and satin finishes turn a glossy car into a soft satin finish. Either way the film is invisible up close when it is installed properly.
With normal care, quality film lasts 7 to 10 years, and our installs carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, and peeling. Self-healing top coat takes care of light swirl marks from washing, and the film keeps its clarity when it is washed the right way.
Yes, that is the main job of the film. It is a thick urethane layer that absorbs the impact of stones, gravel, and road debris before the paint takes the hit. The bumper, hood, mirrors, and front fenders are where most chips land, which is why those panels lead every package.
Yes. We wrap and tuck edges wherever the panel allows so the film disappears under the trim instead of ending in a visible line on the paint. Where a panel cannot be disassembled, we use a relief cut and finish the edge so it stays sealed and clean.
Yes. Most Tesla owners pair film on the impact zones with a ceramic coating on the rest of the paint, then add ceramic window tint. We offer 10% off when you pair any PPF package with a ceramic coating, and bundle pricing on a full protection plan.
